Thank you to everyone who was able to complete the survey about the Spring term. It has been really useful to hear your insights.

It was particularly nice to hear how happy children are in school in general and how well our new reception cohort have settled.

The other main themes from the 'what went well?' responses were:

- children enjoying school
- children making good progress
- developments with our music provision and tuition
- communication (including the newsletter and website)
- trips and activities
- the range of after-school enrichment clubs

I am going to expand on the main themes from the 'even better if' responses in the newsletter this week and let you know what it is we are doing to address these. The main themes for these comments were around:

- school lunches
- teacher strikes
- homework
- football at playtimes
- communication (particularly dates and the calendar sync at the start of the year)
- stars of the week

I have sorted responses by general themes and when the same thing has been mentioned by multiple parents/carers. If you raised something that hasn't been covered and would like to discuss it further, please message me directly: headteacher@st-bartholomews.lewisham.sch.uk
