Mental Health & Wellbeing

At St Bartholomew’s our family support is school based and is as an integral part of the pastoral care team. We aim to support children in our school by assisting their families based on their needs, responding creatively and flexibly.

We will:

  1. Work with pupils experiencing social emotional and behavioural difficulties and/or at risk of social exclusion/disaffection and their families, so they can participate fully in home and school activities in order to achieve their full potential
  2. Promote good attendance of pupils at school to enable them to learn effectively
  3. Work with families, signposting to external resources where necessary, to help increase their involvement in the education and welfare of their children
  4. Provide pastoral care to pupils to ensure their wellbeing within the school.

Please contact the school office on 020 8699 8537 if you would like to make an appointment to talk about family support and your own needs.
